Summer is coming to an end. I have one kiddo going into the 9th grade! Wow! High school, how did that happen? He has decided to try out online schooling this year. His first day back to school will be this upcoming Monday August 19th. My other kiddo will be going into 4th grade. She is pretty excited, but even more excited that she still has two weeks left of Summer break. I also will be heading back to work. Summer break is nice, but it also feels nice to get back into a routine.
We enjoyed heading out to Spirit Lake to hang out in the sun, kayak, swim, and visit with family. We also made a couple trips out to Sandpoint Beach and swam at CDA Lake. We got out into the woods a few times to check the trail cam and do some shed hunting. We got lucky and came home with a matching set of antlers. Every time we get out in the woods I get excited for Fall and hunting season.
